Brief Biography

Danielle Evanson
Programme Manager, Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction, United Nations Development Programme (UNDP)

Danielle first joined the UNDP Barbados and the OECS office in May 2007. In her current role, which she has held since 2014, she oversees the portfolios relating to climate and disaster risk and energy and the environment with a focus on improving the integration between them and strengthening the targeting of the most vulnerable and gender mainstreaming.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science (Hons) from the University of Southampton, England; and a Master of Science in Natural Resource and Environmental Management (Distinction) from the University of the West Indies, Barbados.
