Rose Alabaster has 18 years of experience as a governance and institutional development expert in the fields of water, sanitation and education. She is additionally trained in Conflict Resolution and Management. Rose has worked within the development sectors, working directly with inter-governmental bodies and with national governments, supporting legal and policy reforms and enhancing capacities for improved governance. Her work experience includes government policy assessments and programme formulation - working with development cooperation and UN agencies. She is currently a member of the Board in the Swiss Water Partnership, (Switzerland) and a Co-Chair of the Steering Committee of the GEO Global Water Sustainability Initiative (GEOGLOWS).
